What’s on the Floor

At our Belleville property, the gaming floor is built mainly around slot play. We run close to 450 machines, spread across different denominations and formats. You will see older, three-reel style cabinets mixed in with newer video titles, so the pace can be as relaxed or as busy as you prefer. For most guests, slots are simply where the visit starts.

Table games feel more focused. Blackjack, roulette and baccarat form the core of that area, with Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Mississippi Stud available for players who like something a bit more structured than standard pit games. We also offer Video Poker, but that product runs on set hours rather than the full casino schedule, so it is smart to check times before planning your visit around it.

Game CategoryWhat’s Available
Slot MachinesApproximately 450 interactive units
Core Table GamesBlackjack, Roulette, Baccarat
Cash Table GamesUltimate Texas Hold’em, Mississippi Stud
Video PokerAvailable during scheduled hours only

The building itself covers around 47,000 square feet, with roughly 22 table positions and a separate VIP section on the floor. In practice that places us right in the middle of the regional market: larger than a small slots-only hall, smaller than a full resort property. Once you have walked the room once or twice, getting around is straightforward.

Hours and Getting Here

You will find us at 380 Bell Boulevard, Belleville, Ontario K8P 5H8. On regular weekdays the casino is open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 AM. On weekends, hours stretch, and certain periods operate around the clock. If anything about the schedule or game availability feels unclear, you can call us at +1 613-689-9100 before you travel.

Day TypeHours
Weekdays8:00 AM - 4:00 AM
WeekendsExtended / 24-hour periods

For standard floor access you do not need a reservation. You can simply arrive and check in with our team at the entrance. However, when a visit is built around Video Poker or a specific table game, a quick call in advance usually pays off. Game availability does change by shift, and not every product operates the full posted hours.

One small habit that helps a lot, especially on a first visit to any casino: take a full lap of the floor before you sit down. You get a feel for the layout, the crowd, and what is actually open. That same habit works well here.

Getting Through Your First Session

Over the years we have noticed that newcomers relax faster when they know what to expect at the tables. A typical visit to our Belleville table games looks something like this:

  1. Come in from Bell Boulevard and follow the signs to the guest services desk.
  2. Show valid government-issued photo ID. In Ontario, you must be at least 19 to enter.
  3. If you want to track your play, stop at the rewards desk to collect or activate a Great Canadian Rewards card.
  4. Use the floor signage to find the table games area. Blackjack and roulette are grouped together in the central section.
  5. Choose an open seat and wait until the current hand finishes so the dealer can acknowledge you.
  6. Exchange your cash for chips directly at the table. The dealer will call the buy-in through to the pit supervisor.
  7. When you are finished playing, take your remaining chips to the cashier cage to convert them back to Canadian dollars.
  8. If you plan on playing in the VIP area, check your eligibility with guest services before you head over.

Slot play has a slightly different rhythm. For most guests it feels more self-directed:

  1. Pick out a machine you like. If you prefer a specific game or denomination, the floor map at guest services and posted signs can help you find it.
  2. Insert Canadian currency or a TITO voucher from earlier play.
  3. Set the denomination on the screen before you start spinning.
  4. Adjust your bet size manually or use the Max Bet button if that suits your style.
  5. Keep an eye on your credit balance on the main display while you play.
  6. When you are ready to step away, press Cash Out. The machine will print a TITO voucher.
  7. Redeem that ticket at a kiosk on the floor or take it straight to the cashier cage.

Background on the Property

Shorelines Casino Belleville opened its doors on January 11, 2017, becoming the first casino to operate in Belleville, Ontario. It launched under Ontario Gaming East Limited Partnership, with Great Canadian Gaming Corporation as the majority shareholder. The corporate name has since evolved to Great Canadian Entertainment, but the way we run this specific site has stayed largely the same.

The Shorelines brand today covers four Ontario properties:

  1. Shorelines Casino Belleville - 380 Bell Boulevard, Belleville
  2. Shorelines Casino Peterborough - Peterborough, Ontario
  3. Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands - Gananoque, Ontario
  4. Shorelines Slots at Kawartha Downs - Fraserville, Ontario

Each location manages its own floor, schedule and staffing, but promotions are tied together through Great Canadian Rewards and the “What’s Happening in Shorelines” events platform. Points earned on eligible play at Belleville can be used at any of the four venues, which is handy if you move between locations from time to time.

Like other casinos in Ontario, the Belleville site closed during COVID-19 public health restrictions and later reopened in February 2021 with capacity limits in place. The initial phase brought back slots only, without table games or food and beverage. Full operations returned gradually as those restrictions eased.

Responsible Gambling at Belleville

We place a lot of weight on giving guests clear, accessible support around gambling decisions. On the Belleville floor, that work centers on the PlaySmart Centre, run on-site by the Responsible Gambling Council. This is an independent non-profit organization focused on preventing problem gambling.

The PlaySmart space is more than a stand with brochures. It is a staffed, interactive area you can walk into during regular casino hours simply to get information, ask questions, or take a pause from play. There is no requirement to stay on the gaming floor if you stop by.

Staff working in the PlaySmart Centre are separate from our casino floor team. That separation is intentional so that the advice and tools offered there stay clearly independent from gaming operations. Minimum age for entry anywhere on the property, including VIP, is 19. Guests who appear younger should expect to be asked for ID at the door.

Rewards and Promotions

Great Canadian Rewards links all four Shorelines locations under a single loyalty structure. When you play eligible slots or table games, you earn points that can later go toward dining credits, promotional play, or other offers, depending on what is currently active. Signing up is straightforward: visit the rewards desk inside Shorelines Casino Belleville, and our team will set you up within a few minutes.

Current promotions tied to the Shorelines network are listed on the Great Canadian Entertainment site in the “What’s Happening in Shorelines” section. Offers change by venue and by time period, so a quick look at that page before your visit is usually the most accurate way to see what is running at Belleville specifically. Not every network promotion runs exactly the same way at all four locations, so checking the details in advance helps you plan your session more precisely.
